- Nice video quality for a video door bell. Higher quality not needed due to infrequent use.

- When a visitor decides to knock instead of pressing the door bell, the unit requires more than one simple push of a button to view, to talk, and to record. Wife and kids will forget which 3 buttons to press.
- Doesn't look or feel like a high quality unit.
- Push buttons are a bit clunky to use.
- Not touch screen
- Buttons are poorly labeled.
- Instruction manual can be hard to understand at times due to the poor Chinese to English translation.
- Should have an option to call your cell phone and have you talk to the visitor in real time (one unit at another site had this option, but the outdoor unit was twice as large and clunky).
- No flashing indicator to let you know a new video was recorded while you were away.
- No option for different door bell sounds.
- The power transformer has a detectible amount of heat. Low but I can feel it. This means its using a bit of electricity even when the unit is not on.
- After a visitor presses the door bell, there's a 3 second delay before it starts recording.
- The transformer says UL listed. But the terminals that connect to the unit aren't typical of approved UL connectors.
Overall, it's a bit costly, but a good unit with good features. Worth buying.
