Swann SW211-DPE Digital Private Eye with SD Card Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got the camera and installed it in 2 minutes. It definitely writes images to the SD card. The image is very clear. However, it saves one picture per second! That means it will fill up any card quickly. Even more, it saves all images to only one folder, and I found it limited to 10,000 images, which means 2 hours and 45 minutes only. Even worse, it doesn't save any timestamp on the pictures, so there's no way to tell when they were taken.
A good idea, but poorly implemented. If you could change the picture delay to 3 or 5 seconds, and include a timestamp, this would be a winner.

Defender STEALTH1 Covert MPEG4 DVR Recording System with Built-in Color Pinhole Surveillance Camera Hidden in a Motion Sensor Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This spy cam is so simple to use and it takes great videos on an SD memory card. You can put the camera anywhere or mount it on the wall and it will record video for over a month. The videos are in 30 second segments by date and time on the SD card.It connects to the TV with one simple cable (supplied) for viewing and you can fast forward and rewind like a VCR with buttons on the back.It can be used plugged in or can run on batteries. This would be a good nanny cam or in an area you need to monitor for security purposes. The only bad part is that it doesn't record video well in low light. So, this is a day time cam.

U.S. Patrol JB5472 Photo Patrol Security Camera Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these.Upon putting the batteries in (yes they were in correctly) the unit got extremely hot and the batteries (brand new, purchased same day) got extremely hot. Before I could get the batteries out the unit was smoking. When I went to return, the Amazon page said the items were not returnable. So I spent over $70 for nothing.Do not purchase these our you will be out money too.Shame on Amazon, Shame on US Patrol.
